How it works

Authorise

Click connect, grant read/write access. OAuth for Google Sheets. Host and port details for PostgreSQL. Nothing stored without your permission.

Preview

AstralRefine shows you the first few rows of your data. No cleaning yet — just a look.

Start cleaning

The AI analyses your schema and proposes a plan. You review it, adjust it, and confirm.

Security

AstralRefine goes further.

No data stored

Your source data is never stored. AstralRefine reads it to run your workflow and writes back the cleaned version. Nothing is retained between runs.

AES-256 encryption

Connection credentials are encrypted with AES-256 and stored in a secure vault — never exposed in logs, never visible in the interface.

Encrypted channels

All connections happen over encrypted channels. PostgreSQL requires SSL by default.

Disconnect = delete

You can disconnect any connector at any time. When you do, credentials are permanently deleted.

Only if you want it to write cleaned data back to the source. Read-only mode is available.

We check it before every run. If it needs refreshing, we do it automatically. If we can't, we email you before the run fails.

Not at launch, but this is on the roadmap.

Yes. It's encrypted immediately on entry, stored in a vault, and only decrypted at the moment a workflow runs. It never appears in logs or API responses.
